Who Are We Looking to Add to Our Team? 

As a Field Marketing & Business Development Specialist at Supio, you will join our dynamic and quickly growing Marketing Team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, blending the strategic and tactical elements of field marketing, event logistics, business development, and pre-sales support. You have experience and enjoy coordinating high-impact events, driving lead-generation initiatives, building strategic partnerships, and supporting sales efforts to achieve business. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Field Marketing & Event Logistics:
    • Coordinate and execute field marketing activities, including trade shows, conferences, roadshows, and partner events, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful attendee experiences.
    • Manage vendor relationships and on-site event execution to maximize the return on investment (ROI).
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling event content and promotional campaigns that drive attendance and engagement.  
  •  Business Development:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and industry events.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to nurture leads and accelerate pipeline growth through personalized outreach and targeted campaigns.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis 
  • Pre-Sales Support:
    • Provide support to the sales team in pre-sales activities, including preparing presentations, coordinating product demos, and responding to RFPs.
    • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and value propositions.
    • Assist in the creation and management of sales enablement materials to support prospect engagement and drive deal closure. 
  • Lead Research and Identification for Sales:
    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential company leads using various tools, databases, and market intelligence resources.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
    • Update, manage, and maintain a comprehensive database of potential leads, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. 
  •  Lead Qualification:
    • Evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to determine their quality and potential fit with our products/services.
    • Engage with leads through initial outreach (emails, calls, etc.) to gather more information and qualify their interests and needs. 
    • Document and track all interactions with leads, providing detailed notes and insights to the sales team. 
  •  Collaboration with Sales and Marketing:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with marketing campaigns and strategies. 
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their requirements and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads and suggest improvements for lead generation strategies. 
  • Reporting and Analysis: 
    • Generate regular reports on lead generation activities, including the number of leads identified, qualified, and passed to sales.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of different lead generation channels and tactics, providing recommendations for optimization. 

Qualifications 

  •  1+ years of experience in field marketing, event planning, business development, or sales support roles. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in full tech stack for business (MS Office, Google Workspace). 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time to support field marketing events and business development activities. 

Nice-to-haves 

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo). 
  • Knowledge of the AI or legal tech space.

Compensation 

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-110,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
